SOUTH WALES BRANCH MMOC
ESTABLISHED 1982
The South Wales Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club was established in August 1982, and was one of the first affiliated branches of the National Club (MMOC).
As the name suggests it is a car club for people who own or are interested in Morris Minors and that live in or near to the South Wales region.
We meet at the The Bush Inn, St Hilary CF71 7DP once a month to talk about our cars any problems we may be having with them, any car shows that are coming up and to plan monthly club drives and generally have a good time.
Our aim is to meet as often as we can with our cars and to drive them. We try to have a couple of cars if not more, present at the majority of shows that take place in and around the South Wales area, and try to organise as many club runs as we can. At the end of the day they are iconic classic cars, that not only we as members enjoy but the general public enjoying seeing too. We’d rather have them out and about and not just being garage ornaments.
So if you’ve just moved to the area, you’re passing through, maybe just purchased a Morris Minor or maybe you’ve been here all your life and only just discovered us get in touch. It would be great to see you at our next meeting!
We are a ‘not for profit organisation’ and donate and collect for charity, our charity of the year is TŶ HAFAN.
I have been a member of the SWMMOC for over ten years, in that time the Branch has establish itself as one of the most well known clubs in the area attending many classic car events and organising its own. New members would be most welcome.
